Como parte del programa de tenencia responsable y sanidad de perros y gatos (PROTENENCIA), en el Centro Municipal de Castraciones, fueron castrados un total de 243 animales entre perros y gatos, en los tres primeros meses del año.
Si se tienen en cuenta los días hábiles de enero, febrero y marzo, se alcanzó un promedio diario de aproximadamente cuatro castraciones.
En enero fueron castrados 54 perros y 8 gatos, febrero 68 y 9 y marzo 87 canes y 17 felinos, según el informe emitido por la dependencia municipal que funciona en la Avenida del Gaucho s/nº del Parque Tau
