Gran convocatoria tuvo el Festival de Reyes Mayos realizado el sábado en horas de la noche, en Plaza 25 de Mayo, en el final de la recorrida que los personajes de oriente realizaron por distintos lugares de la ciudad a bordo de la autobomba de Bomberos Voluntarios y repartiendo bolsas de golosinas entre los niños que sorprendidos esperaban su paso.
Cerca de 3.000 personas de todas las edades se congregaron en la plaza para disfrutar de un espectáculo protagonizado por artistas como Daniel “Turco” Abbas, Ramón “Tala” Gómez, Pichirica-Cámara, Runa Sacha, Grupo Argento, Raza Guitarrera y el Pesebre Gaucho con la Academia Corazón de Viento.
Del encuentro organizado por la Dirección de Centros Vecinales, participó el intendente Dr. Carlos Briner.
Vale destacar que el municipio preparó el espectáculo y contribuyó con golosinas, mientras que Bomberos Voluntarios las repartieron junto con más donaciones de otras entidades a través de los Reyes Magos. La cantina estuvo a cargo de la Comisión de los servidores públicos.
Los Reyes Magos iniciaron la gira a media tarde e incluyó Hospital Ceballos, Bº Jardín, Villa Carlitos, Puente de la Historia, plazas De los Niños, Rubén Márquez, Héroes de Malvinas y Haedo, Capilla de Luján y Plaza 25 de Mayo.
Se trató de un hecho cargado de un gran sentido navideño y familiar, enmarcado en un trabajo en conjunto entre la Municipalidad, Centros Vecinales y Bomberos Voluntarios.
