El intendente municipal, Dr. Carlos Briner, brindó declaraciones a la prensa luego de la firma del convenio con ALCEC Bell Ville, en la que sostuvo que “la municipalidad está desarrollando un gran trabajo de prevención en todas las áreas, en medio ambiente y en la salud en general. En este caso, ALCEC también formará parte de la labor preventiva del cáncer junto a las direcciones de Acción Social y Salud Pública, más las instituciones de bien público que deseen sumarse”, dijo el Dr. Briner.
Asimismo, anunció que en la promoción anual de la Fiesta Nacional de la Pelota de Fútbol, este año en los balones deportivos que se entregan a manera de anuncio, irán impresos los anuncios que motivan a la prevención del cáncer de mama.
En ese sentido, destacó que “cada año la Fiesta muestra un logo preventivo y este año elegimos la importante labor que realiza ALCEC a través de la esfinge de una glándula mamaria sostenida por una mano que la cuida. Igual quedan los logos de las fiestas anteriores como prevención de la droga, cuidado del medio ambiente y educación vial”.
Informó además que junto con el convenio suscripto con ALCEC para su tratamiento en el Concejo Deliberante, se enviará un proyecto de ordenanza para que en cada Fiesta de la Pelota de Fútbol se incluya un logo que haga referencia a la prevención de la salud y aquellos atenientes a lo social, familiar y educativo, entre otros.
“El deporte es un factor de unión y este es un distintivo que esta Municipalidad quiere aportar”, agregó.
