De acuerdo con lo anunciado por el municipio en su momento, el próximo martes comenzará la obra de reemplazo del asfalto por hormigón en la avenida costanera Faustino Molina, entre Int. Vivanco y culminación de la rotonda del Paseos de la Reconstrucción-Puente de la Historia, con una superficie total algo inferior a los 9.000 m2.
Para ello, el martes comenzará la remoción del deteriorado asfalto entre Int. Vivanco e Int. Da Silva.
Además, el lunes, al costado de todo el sector a intervenir, comenzará la colocación de contenedores con cal, material a utilizar en la base a tratar previo al hormigonado de la avenida, teniendo en cuenta la humedad existente en el sector como consecuencia de su proximidad con el río Ctalamochita.
La empresa Arrow S.R.L. será la encargada de la obra, adjudicada por el municipio, con expresa autorización del Concejo Deliberante, previéndose una inversión de casi $ 35.000.000 que será afrontada con fondos municipales genuinos. El plazo de ejecución de los trabajos es de 180 días.
Vale destacar que el tramo de la avenida a intervenir presenta deterioros constantes en su asfalto, que, por un lado provoca gastos permanentes en bacheos de escasa durabilidad y por el otro, motiva serios inconvenientes en el intenso tránsito vehicular que registra esa arteria.
La remoción del asfalto existente, tal como se hizo con las 22 cuadras ya hormigonadas, estará a cargo de la Municipalidad.
Vale recordar que al hacer el anuncio de la obra, días atrás, el intendente Carlos Briner había sostenido que en menos de 7 meses, fondos propios municipales por una suma cercana a los $ 100.000.000 se han destinado al hormigonado de 22 calles, sumándosele ahora un extenso tramo de la avenida Molina.
