El pasado 16 de diciembre se cumplieron 25 años de la entrega de las 292 viviendas en Barrio Jardín.
Este emprendimiento marcó un hito en la construcción de unidades habitacionales en nuestra ciudad tanto por el volumen de edificaciones, como por la participación de los vecinos trabajando juntos al estado municipal y provincial en el desarrollo del plan.
El proyecto denominado “de financiamiento compartido” fue gestionado en forma conjunta entre la Municipalidad de Bell Ville y los vecinos asociados en el Consorcio Bell Ville Asociación Civil, y financiado principalmente por la Provincia de Córdoba a través del ex IPV.
Es así que el Instituto otorgó el crédito para la construcción de las unidades habitacionales y la infraestructura básica, y los vecinos a través del Consorcio aportaron el terreno y la red de gas natural. Además hicieron aportes personales para mejorar varios aspectos de la vivienda como pisos, aberturas, tapias, etc.
El municipio hizo su aporte con obras de nexo, es decir cañerías troncales de agua y cloacas que conectaron el barrio con redes existentes.
El gigantesco desarrollo inmobiliario involucró la participación de muchos vecinos e instituciones con resultados ya conocidos.
El 16 de Diciembre de 1994, con la presencia del gobernador de la Provincia, Dr. Eduardo Angeloz, el intendente Nelson Gonela encabezó la entrega de llaves a los futuros propietarios.
