En una conmemoración atípica limitada por la emergencia sanitaria enmarcada en el Decreto Nacional N° 297-2020, con el fin de proteger la salud pública y sobre el aislamiento social, preventivo y obligatorio, el intendente Carlos Briner y el presidente del Centro de Veteranos de Guerra Bell Ville “Islas Malvinas”, Gustavo De Lizarralde brindaron un emotivo mensaje a la población.
En el Día del Veterano y de los Caídos en la Guerra de las Malvinas, De Lizarralde dijo que es una ocasión especial para rendir homenaje a los caídos en las Islas y a los veteranos que han fallecido en el continente, los cuales se han sumado a nuestros muertos en Malvinas que las custodian.
Luego de un minuto de silencio, el intendente dijo que el ejemplo de los soldados de la gesta de Malvinas nos debe servir para luchar en este presente difícil que tiene Bell Ville y el país todo.
El mensaje de ambos concluyó con la entonación de las estrofas del Himno Nacional a cargo de la artista local María Isabel Mellano y luego la tradicional Marcha de Malvinas.
Previamente, en el primer minuto de hoy, siempre por las redes sociales de la Municipalidad, el trompetista Esteban Utrera, integrante de la Banda Municipal Ernesto A. Bianchi, acompañó el minuto de silencio por todos aquellos que se ofrecieron de cuerpo y alma por la Patria para recuperar nuestras Islas.
