El secretario de Economía, Juan Manuel Moroni, dijo que el municipio viene haciendo un gran esfuerzo por mantener en orden las finanzas.
Sostuvo que la recaudación propia se cayó y la que proviene de la coparticipación y de otros ingresos también han disminuido notoriamente. A manera de ejemplo, citó que la coparticipación de marzo fue de un 40 a un 50% menos y la de este mes fue otro 40% en negativo.
Recordó que cuando la comenzó la cuarentena en la segunda quincena de marzo, la recaudación propia cayó en casi un 60%, teniendo en cuenta que no se permitía el cobro por ventanilla física, quedando solo vía transferencia, on line o web, medidas sobre las cuales este municipio venía trabajando al respecto, lo que le permitió amortiguar el impacto repentino de esta situación.
Explicó que en materia de salarios se ha venido trabajando desde octubre del año pasado cuando se planificó lo de 2020 al sostener que la situación económica tendría dificultades no por esta pandemia imprevista sino por otros factores que se venían presentando a nivel país.
Si bien se dio esta baja importante en la recaudación, se pudo hacer frente a los sueldos y se podrá afrontar también el venidero.
Aclaró que también hubo una baja de servicios municipales propios de la cuarentena, limitándolos a los esenciales, por lo que ahora está trabajando a un 50% de su capacidad.
Remarcó que se está al día con los compromisos asumidos y que con la compra de maquinarias que se hace desde el primer mes del año, “nos estamos capitalizando en medio de esta difícil situación”.
En el caso de obras públicas, dijo que el municipio está habilitado para retomar la actividad, pero por respeto a la faz privada que no lo puede hacer, no se ha iniciado aun.
