Durante esta estrategia sanitaria cumplida hoy en la Plaza 25 de Mayo, marcando un muestreo poblacional en nuestra ciudad, en procura de dar con eventuales casos asintomáticos, los participantes del Programa Identificar brindaron declaraciones de gran importancia para la comunidad.
El titular del COE Regional Villa María, Sergio Arroyo explicó que “estamos en una etapa de la pandemia donde la curva está ascendiendo, por lo que el verdadero desafío que tienen todas estas estrategias es que esta curva no sea lo suficientemente abrupta y que no nos sature el sistema sanitario, principalmente lo referente a las camas disponibles para patologías graves o críticas”.
Hizo referencia a los focos de Marcos Juárez y al de Oliva que se constituyó en el más grande de la provincia, “por lo que se aborda toda una región que comprende distintas localidades que entre ellas tienen nexos. Cuando se hace la línea del tiempo e identificar precozmente para evitar la propagación del virus, se encuentra que han estado en fiestas, reuniones religiosas, etc., determinándose que los contactos estrechos han sido 20 o 30. Hay un caso de una persona que tiene más de 50”.
Reflexionó en ese sentido: “Apelamos a la responsabilidad social, porque el virus se transmite de persona a persona. Si nosotros respetamos el distanciamiento, el uso de barreras y evitamos el aglomerado de gente, la posibilidad de propagación disminuye y si hay menos enfermos, el sistema de salud estará acorde para dar respuestas sin tener problemas”.
Por su parte, el director del Hospital Regional local, José María Ruiz, agradeció la presencia “de un amigo como Sergio Arroyo que trajo el Programa Identificar, ya que podría detectar casos asintomáticos en la ciudad. Esto nos pone muy contentos y lo agradezco públicamente”.
Para el directivo, “la idea no es generar pánico, sino prevenir para que no tengamos casos. Sabemos que estamos <rodeados> de casos en localidades vecinas, por lo que estamos trabajando día y noche para detectarlos si apareciesen. Lo importante es si encontramos un caso, poder sacarlo de circulación rápidamente para que no se desparrame el virus. En ese sentido agradezco también a la ciudadanía de Bell Ville”, agregó.
En tanto, el secretario de Desarrollo Social de la Municipalidad, Horacio Pelletti, informó que se trató de un testeo aleatorio de bellvillenses para conocer si en nuestra ciudad hay circulación viral. “Nosotros lo recibimos con muy buen agrado y celebramos esta actuación de la Provincia, porque es una medida más de prevención que se suma a las que hay y las que está cumpliendo la ciudadanía”, indicó.
Y agregó: “Si bien se trabaja con confianza y tranquilidad, se cree que siempre se puede hacer algo más. No hay que relajarse ni bajar los brazos, tanto desde el COE Bell Ville, sino también la ciudadanía toda, que debe asumir el compromiso y responsabilidad del aislamiento, evitando aglomeraciones, fiestas, reuniones, etc.”.
Finalmente, el intendente Carlos Briner, agradeció el apoyo de la ciudadanía a este operativo y al COE Villa María, en la figura del Dr. Arroyo por la decisión adoptada para llevar adelante el testeo de hoy, al igual que a las autoridades sanitarias provinciales. El agradecimiento lo hizo extensivo a todo el equipo que compone el COE Bell Ville.
Aseguró que se acompañará toda medida que aconseje tanto el COE Central como el Regional Villa María, en salvaguarda de la salud de las personas y sus familias en primer término.
“Estamos en una pandemia de alcance mundial, sobre la que no todos los países le han encontrado la vuelta, ya que la inmensa mayoría han tenido recaídas y brotes, por lo que debemos estar atentos y cumplir todas las recomendaciones”, destacó.
Reiteró que si sigue con la idea de recurrir al voluntariado en el caso de eventuales brotes del virus en la ciudad. “No aflojemos en el cuidado”, dijo finalmente.
