Ante riesgos de desprendimientos de la estructura, se demolió parte del alero ubicado en el ingreso a la Biblioteca Popular “Ramón J. Cárcano”, en Córdoba esquina Sarmiento y que pertenece a la planta alta del sector ocupado por el Concejo Deliberante.
Se demolió el cielo raso y la pantalla vertical, para posteriormente impermeabilizarlo y reconstruir la estructura principal a los efectos de recuperar la fachada original.
