La Municipalidad gestionó el lugar, cedido gentilmente por las autoridades educativas del mencionado instituto y la idea es replicar el muralismo en diversos sectores de la ciudad, para que a través del programa Núcleos Barriales, sean los propios vecinos los que aporten el trabajo para llevar adelante coloridos motivos.
Para el mural el municipio aportó también la pintura y otros elementos para facilitar el trabajo, mientras que la temática fue elegida por los propios bellvillenses, interpretada cabalmente por Yapura y Arévalo y titulada “Memoria colectiva”.
El agradecimiento personal al jefe municipal, lo hicieron extensivo al secretario de Gobierno, Agustín López y al responsable del Área de Cultura, Gustavo Calzolari, como así también al presidente del Centro Municipal de Estudios Históricos, César Cabanillas y a todos los bellvillenses que colaboraron en la tarea.
