El intendente Carlos Briner, acompañado de los secretarios de Coordinación de Gabinete, Ernesto Borrageros y de Economía, Juan Manuel Moroni, participaron entre el viernes y sábado últimos en San Carlos de Bariloche, Río Negro, de la III Asamblea Nacional de Intendentes de la Red Argentina de Municipios frente al Cambio Climático- PRE COP 26 – Glasgow, Reino Unido, bajo la organización de la RAMCC y la Municipalidad de esa ciudad, más el auspicio de la Unión Europea y la Fundación Friedrich Ebert.
Un centenar de intendentes de 19 provincias, participaron presencialmente del encuentro, mientras que otro grupo importante lo hizo de manera virtual.
En su exposición, el jefe municipal hizo referencia al reemplazo por 500 luminarias Led en el alumbrado público. “El fideicomiso que integramos en la RAMCC es mucho más ágil, eficaz y eficiente que algunas compras llevadas delante de manera individual”, remarcó.
Destacó el contacto directo con autoridades de renombre a nivel mundial sobre la materia y los conocimientos adquiridos frente al cambio climático, más una exposición de emprendedores amigables con el ambiente.
Por su parte, Borrageros dijo que se participó de un panel sobre procurar la eficiencia en edificios públicos, para lo cual el municipio local integra un grupo junto a otros 34. “Nos hemos propuesto en nuestro caso, hacer eficiente el palacio municipal y paro lo cual ya recibiremos la auditoría ambiental que nos posibilite un financiamiento de la Unión Europea y de esa manera, llevar adelante ese proyecto”.

“Hoy las acciones climáticas están sobre los hombros de los municipios y vamos a esforzar a más Municipalidades y Comunas para que se sumen a esta noble causa y que se constituye en el desafía más importante que enfrenta la especie humana en la actualidad”, agregó.
En tanto, Moroni ponderó los beneficios del fideicomiso de la RAMCC que se convierte en una herramienta muy útil a nivel internacional y que motivará el financiamiento de obras con fondos extranjeros de distintas instituciones mundiales que apoyan la iniciativa.
Anticipó que antes de fin de año saldrá el tercer fideicomiso para adquisición de más luminarias, mientras que hay en desarrollo otros solicitados como autos eléctricos, paneles solares y calefones solares, entre otros.
Además, de manera virtual la Oficina de Empleo de la Municipalidad, participó de una capacitación en “empleos verdes o ecológicos” que tienen por finalidad generar emprendedorismo en esa materia.
