En el mes de la concientización y sensibilización sobre el cáncer de mama, el frente del edificio municipal permanecerá iluminado de color rosa durante el presente mes.
La Dirección de Salud recuerda que permanece habilitado el programa destinado a la prevención contra los cánceres de mama y útero, en un trabajo conjunto entre la Municipalidad (Acción Social, Salud y Centros Vecinales), Hospital Regional “Dr. José Antonio Ceballos”, ALCEC y las Comisiones Directivas de los Centros Vecinales.
La campaña consiste en hacer de nexo entre el ciudadano y el hospital para acceder al turno de Mamografía y Papanicolaou (PAP).
Cada Centro Vecinal, envía los datos de los vecinos al Área de Centros Vecinales, dependencia municipal que reúne la información para ir otorgando los turnos correspondientes. La campaña se extenderá hasta el mes de diciembre.
Se recuerda que los pedidos se receptan en cada Centro Vecinal, Asistencia Pública Municipal (Entre Ríos 257) y en la Dirección de Acción Social (Ecuador 38), además de la oficina de Centros Vecinales (Tucumán 468).
