Con el nombre de “Cuida mi fragilidad” alumnos y docentes del Espacio Curricular Muralismo y Arte Público de 4º Año del Profesorado en Artes Visuales pintaron un mural alusivo al proteccionismo animal en la plaza La Escondida.
Lo realizaron Antonella Licio, Jessica Giménez, Mauricio Ariante, Milagros Davico e Ivana Falco, con el apoyo de proteccionistas que brindaron información para el proyecto, familia Licio, las vecinas Natalia y Yanina Ramazzotti y la Municipalidad por facilitar el espacio público y las pinturas del mural.
El trabajo tiene como protagonistas a perros y gatos, su protección y cuidado, revalorizando y reconociendo así, la tarea de las personas, en su mayoría mujeres proteccionistas, que se dedican a esa ardua tarea de forma absolutamente voluntaria.
Uno de los objetivos principales del mural es sensibilizar y apelar a la conciencia social sobre los derechos de los animales como seres sintientes, el trato que merecen, modos de cuidado, adopción responsable y la importancia de la castración, a fin de evitar la crueldad del abandono y la superpoblación de perros en las calles de la ciudad y en la Protectora “Lorenzo Moroni”.
Se valora además, la importancia vital que tienen los animales sobre el bienestar de las personas, el amor, la alegría y la compañía fiel e incondicional que brindan.
El mural promueve la sensibilidad y la responsabilidad social ante los animales, como ejemplo de una sociedad avanzada en lo que refiere a su respeto y cuidado, como así también en la repercusión en la calidad de vida de toda una comunidad.
