Con actuaciones muy aplaudidas por la concurrencia, el domingo se desarrolló en el Teatro Coliseo, el acto de fin de curso y concierto de la Escuela de Música y Banda Municipal “Ernesto Alfonso Bianchi”, bajo la batuta del maestro Juan Ferreyra.
El encuentro, a 83 años de la creación de la banda y con más de 70 integrantes sobre el escenario, se concretó en homenaje al músico recientemente fallecido Jorge “Tatín Martínez”.
En primer lugar actuó la denominada “Banda de Guerra” con la ejecución de marchas militares.
El nuevo abanderado Bautista Bonggi Piermarini y las escoltas Olga Gay Irigoitía y Mía Grossi, recibieron la enseña nacional de manos de Brunella Pizzolitto, Thiago Cuello y Joaquín Lerda (abanderada y escoltas salientes).
Recibieron diplomas los alumnos que completaron el ciclo básico: Brunella Pizzolitto, Milton Martínez, Joaquín Lerda, Santino Murúa, Thiago Cuello, Fabricio Prina, Elián Cardozo, Bautista Bonggi Piermarini, Benjamín Mojica Benjamín y Bruno López Saliol.
Los reconocimientos por mejores promedios, recayeron en los alumnos Joaquín Benítez, Oliver Simonini, Miguel Ángel Tamborini, Bautista Bonggi Piermarini, Mía Grossi, Olga Gay Irigoitía, Brunella Pizzolitto y Joaquín Lerda, mientras que como mejores compañeros recibieron sus diplomas Milton Martínez y Joaquín Lerda.
En la parte final, la Banda de Concierto ofreció un variado repertorio para con marchas militares y música de películas y populares.
En su transcurso, el maestro Ferreyra destacó la importante labor desplegada por Jorge “Tatín” Martínez en beneficio de la institución.
Antes del cierre con la marcha de “Avenida de las Camelias”, hubo menciones especiales para los músicos invitados Hugo Villarroel (cantante); Mauricio Vásquez (guitarrista); Franco Díaz (percusión); Nicolás Brandi (percusión) y Maiko Rivera (saxo alto).
Por la Municipalidad, estuvieron presentes los secretarios de Gobierno y de Desarrollo Social, Agustín López y Horacio Pelletti, respectivamente y el encargado de Cultura y Educación, Gustavo Calzolari.
Se trató de un reencuentro de la gran comunidad de la escuela y banda, luego de casi dos años de inactividad pública debido a la pandemia.
