Así lo indicó el presidente de los farmacéuticos, Víctor Luis Ramello quien participó de la reunión junto a otros profesionales que conformar la entidad.
“Estamos dispuestos a colaborar en todo lo que sea necesario para contrarrestar los efectos de esta pandemia”, dijo Ramello.
Destacó que “conocemos muy bien a los pacientes que llegan a nuestras farmacias, por lo que podemos aportar datos de aquellas personas con síntomas compatibles con Covid-19. Podemos sugerirle que llame al 103 o nosotros informar a la misma línea telefónica que esa persona ha consumido algún tipo de medicamentos que pueden ser utilizados en el caso de la pandemia”.
Ante una consulta del periodismo sobre la compra de medicamentos en farmacias, Ramello brindó datos interesantes: “A nivel provincial, en las farmacias han caído las ventas de lo que es medicamentos ambulatorios, mientras que la baja en los mal llamados antigripales llega al 70%. No hay muchas consultas sobre las enfermedades estacionales, aunque sí puedo decir que se incrementó en un 5% el rubro de medicamentos para el sistema nervioso. Lo de estación como para la tos, por ejemplo, no se está vendiendo prácticamente nada”.
Reconoció que en la baja en el consumo de los medicamentos estacionales tiene mucho que ver el uso de tapabocas, distanciamiento social y otros hábitos que se han adoptado para el cuidado personal de la salud.
