En trabajo conjunto del Círculo Odontológico del Departamento Unión (CODU) y la Municipalidad, a través de la dirección de Salud, se desarrollarán distintas actividades en el marco de la Campaña Nacional de Prevención del Cáncer Bucal, durante la primera semana de agosto próximo.
Tiene por finalidad llegar a un diagnóstico temprano de las lesiones bucodentales, permitiendo a la vez difundir en los servicios odontológicos y en las instituciones participantes, la concientización y evaluación de estas heridas para beneficio exclusivo de los pacientes.
Entre las actividades previstas, se mencionan:
- Revisación gratuita de pacientes durante la semana del 5 al 9 de agosto en los diferentes centros asistenciales.
- El día viernes 9 por la mañana revisación de los pacientes en el CODU.
- Durante el viernes por la tarde, se realizarán biopsias en aquellos casos relevantes que se consideren necesarios. Se contará con la presencia del Od. Adrián allende y el Od. Nicolás Bolesina, ambos de la ciudad de Córdoba y pertenecientes a la red de prevención del cáncer bucal.
- Durante la mañana del sábado (y como cierre de la compaña) en el CODU se dictará un curso de formación profesional permanente sobre “Manejo de lesiones estomatológicas en relación con el cáncer bucal” dictado por los citados profesionales.
- Difusión de información y concientización en la población por medios radiales, televisivos, sociales, etc. acerca de su implicancia.
