En una tarea que demanda tiempo, se comenzó con la restauración del reloj y el espacio ocupado por la antigua máquina instalada en la torre del edificio municipal.
La máquina ya está en funcionamiento y después de varios años vuelve a marcar el paso del tiempo tanto visual como sonoramente, ya que las campanadas vuelven a sonar.
Se lo dotará de mejor iluminación y se procurará recuperar los cuatro diales o caras que muestran las horas y las manecillas.
Cabe destacar que según un trabajo elaborado por la Prof. Rosa Ángela Rinaldi en base a una narración del vecino José Rosset, el reloj estuvo desde 1910 (Conmemoración del Centenario de la Revolución de Mayo-Intendente Juan Roldán) hasta 1946 en uno de los dos campanarios del templo de la Inmaculada Concepción y desde ese año se lo trasladó a su actual emplazamiento, al concluirse la torre del edificio municipal.
El reloj es de origen alemán, marca Solingen, y tiene un peso aproximado a 60 kg. Los vidrios son cuadras de un metro cada lado y son los que se colocaron en 1946. Anteriormente, en la iglesia, eran redondos.
De esta manera, el reloj símbolo de la ciudad, vuelve a acompañar a Bell Ville y a los vecinos.
